Watch a quick, 6-minute intro video on the event by FAA Founder Kevin Miller:
Are you scared to expose yourself?
We’re not talking about streaking through the Colorado mountains at some alternative team-building retreat. We’re asking you if you’re confident about talking about your product or service...your message? Do you feel like your marketing is too timid? Does it lack focus? Do you try something once and give up when it doesn’t work? Do you feel you've marketed a lot, but you don't have the sales to show for it?
You're not alone. Many striving free agents have great products and services, but not enough interested people to expose themselves to.

Well, here’s the secret: The superhero is you. Corny? Not really. You’ve got a powerful passion for your business. You may be just getting started or maybe you’ve been at this a while. But, there’s something that’s just not working. You can’t seem to get it off the ground. Why? It’s because your superhuman strength has been missing or depleted. It’s not focused. The energy has run out and you don’t know how to get it back...and maybe you never had it.
If you had made a few dozen sales, would you feel stronger? If you knew exactly who your perfect customer was, and you knew that they were just waiting for you to show up, would it make it easier to swoop in and offer your product or service? Would the dreaded sales process turn into a meaningful exchange?
- Zig Ziglar
You’re not alone. This is a symptom of every “would be” successful free agent. Clark Kent didn’t save the world, the confident, capable man in the blue suit did. Those blue tights were right under that dark suit. You’ve got a cape and emblem for your chest, too. It’s your product and service and message. Your goal might not be to save the world at large, but I’m sure you’ve got visions of how your business might save YOUR world, and the worlds of your target market.
This intensive is a super-focused attack on creating a six-month strategic marketing plan — a plan to get your power back or find it for the first time. Jimi Gibson has been crafting successful campaigns for hundreds of clients over his 20-year career in advertising and marketing. He’s worked with clients that had “no budget” and those with millions of dollars to throw around. Whatever your budget, you’ll have a plan when you leave on Sunday — a plan that fits you like Batman’s belt and gets you results you can take to your bank.
Have you been to marketing seminars before that promised to get you up and running? Were you disappointed when you found out the only marketing that was going on involved up-selling you at every bathroom break? Did they hand out a cookie-cutter approach to marketing and send you home more confused than when you arrived?
That’s not us. That’s not Free Agent Academy. We’re so committed to insuring you get what you came for that if you feel it wasn’t worth your time or money, we’ll refund it all. The strategic plan that you create while you’re here is custom-fit to you. The person sitting beside you won’t have the same plan; neither will the guy two rows up, nor the woman in the back row.
Free Agent Academy Dean Chuck Bowen presides over the entire event and FAA Professor extraordinaire Justin Lukasavige of CoachRadio.TV will be a fellow guide and presenter.
The intensive starts Friday with a firm foundation in marketing and branding. You’ll take lots of notes in the seminar workbook. We’ll break for dinner, have some time around a toasty Colorado campfire with a glass of wine, and you’ll drift into a relaxing slumber with the cool breeze of the free agent lifestyle blowing through the Rocky Mountain trees.
Saturday morning starts with a brisk walk to the lake before breakfast. Your energy is coming back. After some food and fellowship, you’ll open your workbooks for some hands-on exercises and breakout sessions for digging deeper into your specific marketing approach. After lunch you get practical knowledge, new techniques, and individual attention to your specific business. By this time your head will be in top creative mode. The ideas will be bouncing off the sides of your head like bullets off Wonder Woman’s wristbands. You’ll take that euphoric feeling to dinner and chat it up with the other smiling faces. Conversations will continue around the campfire and Kevin will teach us all about Colorado s’mores (even if he’s taught you three times before). By this time, you’ll have the basic structure of your marketing plan and you’ll have to force yourself to relax and get a few hours sleep.
Sunday morning’s walk may be a little slower and more reflective of the weekend and how far you’ve come in a short amount of time. You’ll barely remember what you had for breakfast as you compare your plan with others at the table. This plan is you, as right as your favorite pair of jeans — jeans with a superhero outfit underneath. You know that it can work, your business has a chance — an incredible chance of being exactly what you want it to be. Not a business of survival...but abundance. All of those marketing books you’ve been reading suddenly seem trivial compared to the realization that: what works for some, won’t work for you. Just like your product or service, the key to your effective marketing is entirely unique.
The Sunday session wraps up any loose ends in your plan before you say a temporary goodbye to new friends, future business partners, and the incredible Colorado mountains. Temporary because unlike any conference or seminar you've ever attended, leaving is not the end...it's just the beginning. The event never ends, as we keep living it every day in the Free Agent Academy online community. The support and accountability continues! Plus, we know you'll be back to these mountains with us...
SPECIAL GUESTS
When you talk about branding and marketing, you’ve got the average players and the Justice League of elite superheroes. We’re bringing you two special guests with branding super powers that melt the competition like x-ray vision.

BONUS ADD-ON EVENT
Both Dan and Dave will be conducting short sessions during the main intensive. However, if you really want the inside scoop on how the marketing choices they made allowed them to jump tall buildings in a single bound and stop competitors with a wave of their wireless mouse, join us for the bonus event on Sunday afternoon.
Dan and Dave will be walking us through the marketing success and failures that took them from day 1 and ground zero...to today and their immense levels of business success. You'll realize they were ordinary guys who merely did the work to become the extraordinary superheroes they are today.
You'll participate in intimate Question & Answer sessions with them, and have the stage to get their personal feedback on your business's marketing potential and opportunities.
Hosting these sessions will be Free Agent Academy founder Kevin Miller, FAA 'Dean' and business coach to the stars (such as Dave Munson!) Chuck Bowen, and SuperProfessors Jimi Gibson and Justin Lukasavige.
Plus you'll have the informal and intimate times during meals and the bonfire with everyone.
