The top headline at USA Today this morning:
Work-at-home job scams thrive on economic trouble
I'm not going to write much on this. Obviously, it just belies two truths:
I recently overheard a friend talking about trying to find a 'cushy' set up for his work. THAT…is the problem. And why this guy continues to flounder in his work and having any true meaning and fulfillment in his life. We're a society that's hell-bent on seeking comfort and ease instead of purpose.
We were created to be Free Agents. To work for ourselves. That is absolute truth. We're just supposed to do it by doing what we are individually equipped for. And we all are…and can further be…equipped.
You just gotta decide if today's comfort is worth more than tomorrow's ultimate fulfillment.
Do you want to work-from-home, be passionate about that work and truly be providing a great and needed service to humanity that makes your work a legacy? And make good money?! Two more things for you:
Do something. Now. Go.
Unsure what to do? Quit trying to figure it out alone. Ask. Right here if you want.

Work-at-home job scams thrive on economic trouble
I'm not going to write much on this. Obviously, it just belies two truths:
- Society is longing to be Free Agents
- We'd really like the easy way out, just like "take this pill and lose weight while you sleep!"

- You've got to have faith that you can and should have those things - and most folks just won't believe that...which begs the question, what do you believe? That you were one of the unlucky folks just created to be mere filler here on earth...? That's belief in a lie.
- You've got to be willing to commit and do the work.

Acutally, for me, is it involves watching soap operas it would have to be 6 figures and not just 5. But that's probably just me.

It always seems that "get rich quick" scams such as these tend to flourish during times of economic uncertainty. May the scam artists pay for their sins, and we should all be extra viligent of such scams during these trying times. As for me, one of the reasons I'm pursuing franchising opportunities is for the benefit of being able to work from home. This is esecially important for me since I'm going to be a father by around the New Year.

I think we are taught that we have to work because it is a burden. Then to medicate ourselves for lack of fulfillment we buy crap we do not need which makes it more financially difficult to leave our job. I have found that I feel like I should help as many people in the corporate/production environment understand there is more out there for them (I am not sure if this is my calling, it may be, but I am building a business around it). Many of the people I talk to are too scared to try something new, they do not believe there is more out there so they are always looking for the easy way out not realizing there is a fulfilling way out.

Work at home scams is common problem of freelancers so as possible you need to avoid encountering scams when you do freelancing because these could be your big problem.
